How to change a 2002 chrysler sebring thermostat ?

Take the cap off the coolant reservoir. Locate the thermostat housing. Take the 2 bolts out that holds the housing in place. Be prepared to loose alot of coolant. Take the old thermostat out and put the new one in. Replace the housing and the bolts. Fill you coolant reservoir up to the limit line and replace the cap. Start the car and let it idle. After it warms up check and make sure the heat gauge go's/or stays at normal. Just off the car and check your fluid level in your coolant reservoir. If you need to add more and repeat the process until the collant reservior stables.
