If my Engine and or Tranny are acting weird or start to die out on my 99k miles 93 honda civic dx will it be expensive to get a new engine and or tranny ? I see them going for like $200.. but how bads that labor ? (1k?) And how hard would it be to do it myself ? I know how to change a thermostat, but beyond that im clueless.. but very hands on... Hondas seem easy though because theyre so small, am I right ?93 Honda Civic Engine Swapping etc. ?first thing first. Which is it? The engine or the tranny. It be a waste of money to replace the engine when yours could be ok.
You need to get someone to look at it for you and tell you what could be wrong, then plan what you are going to do.
